Looking Back Through the 2011 England Photo Files

Hi from England.  I have been  looking back through some pictures this week and thinking about trying to put together a calendar for 2012.  Also making a New Years resolution or two about how to better organize my pictures in the future.  Randomly here are a few photos from England last year.

From the village near Althorp above and below.

The Round Oval and the Diana Memorial at Althorp.

At the start of a walk up Kinder Scout in the Peak District, a very friendly farmer fixing his fence.

Swan Green in the New Forest.

The streets of Broadway. (England not New York!)

Looking at Broadway in the Cotswolds.

From a walk near Broadway, the church is not in Broadway but a few miles out.  I can tell you to the right there is a steep hill that goes up to the Broadway Tower.

At Mary Arden’s farm near Stratford Upon Avon.

From a pub in the same village.

And lastly a picture from London.  I have no idea how or why I did the writing in yellow.  (I am not in London now.)

Beautiful pictures that make me appreciate this 'green and pleasant land' all the more. Thank you for sharing, and you have given me some good ideas for visits I should make in 2012.

Some lovely English views. You have so many great photos in your collection, it must be hard to choose just 12 for a calendar.

They are all so beautiful and recognisable. Sorting photos becomes the bane of my life.

I guess it is because we take so many.

I am so glad that I have a 23 inch screen to view yours.
